Pat Guard was presented with the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award from FamilyTime Foundation. Her award winning portraiture is displayed with pride throughout her studio and restaurant.
PAT AND RAY are professional entertainers. Pat on the electronic keyboard and Ray on guitar. Their soft vocal stylings are presented nightly at their restaurant, The Veranda, in Kingwood, Texas. They have played professionally in Huntsville, AL, Chattanooga, TN, Gatlinburg, TN, Salmon,ID, Grants, NM, Marathon in the Florida Keys, Islamorada in the Florida Keys, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kingwood, TX. In Tennessee, they performed with Dolly and Stella Parton, T.G. Shepherd,Ray Charles, Brenda Lee and Floyd Cramer at the Sheraton Gatlinburg Hotel. Ray has performed with Charlie Rich and Carl Perkins with the Dick Clark Caravan of Stars. Ray has a degree in music education and teaches private guitar lessons.
Pat and Ray's fine dining restaurant, The Veranda, is Kingwood's best dining destination.
Pat and Ray attend professional association meetings on the national, state and local levels several times a year.
Pat and Ray Guard also publish The Forest Image, Kingwood's good news magazine, which is mailed to every house, apartment and business in Kingwood (and many sections of Atascocita, Humble and Porter).
Pat and Ray are available for worldwide travel. They recently photographed a wedding in Cortina and Venice, Italy. They have traveled also to San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta on various assignments. Their Renoir Collection of wedding photography includes worldwide travel and five day coverage.
